to shield his wife and family from the assaults of the devil. And to have keen foresight when his wife is vulnerable and an easy prey for the adversary to take advantage of. If necessary, true evidence of loving one’s wife is the willingness to risk his life to save her. Many decisions will have to be made in every marriage. Christian couples must rely on the Lord and apply godly wisdom in every aspect of their life. Some decisions you can make as a team, while others are by either the wisest of the husband or wife. To avoid any unnecessary issues and marital conflict, come together in prayer, seeking God’s wisdom for the best solution. Remember, Eve was Adam’s helper. Thus, the wife compliments her husband by not overstepping her boundaries. And the husband love her by realizing she is intelligent and when he’s unsure of what to do, it’s best to consult with his wife first rather than outside sources. Be willing to reasonably compromise, and if the need for counsel is warranted, meet with your Pastor(s). to meet the mandates of the Lord, each one is expected to accept their part and face the consequences.
