love driving through neighborhoods to see how
people live. Typically, these aren’t suburban and rich ones.
Though those are fine, I love going through the low income
neighborhoods the most. I let the Holy Spirit speak to me
about what can be done. How to help and overall feel His
heart of compassion. I get out. I talk to the guys on the
corner. I go into drug facilities and pray. I enter stores and
buy. And typically, on my way home, away from the
poverty, away from the drama, away from the stress,
streets and misery, what do I see? What is that over there
in a neat little corner, seemingly bothering nobody, making
no difference, having no impact.
