Hey everyone! My name is Amar Mohindra, I am the new head of waste in the Sustainability Committee.
I was elected just recently at the beginning of this term. As head of waste, I lead all of the recycling collections in the school. Delegating jobs for committee members to do and where they should go.
Without this vital part the sustainability committee would not be what it is today and would not play such a large role in the school. The amount of paper that this school uses is extraordinary, despite that only a small percentage of this is recycled, the amount of paper that is collected by the committee is extremely large.
Since being elected I have changed the way we collect the recycling and the way we go about deciding how many people go where. Having assessed which areas in the school produce more paper, we have made the sustainability committee use its time more sustainably. I have thoroughly enjoyed playing a this role in the sustainability committee and look forward for the rest of the academic year that lies ahead.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and have a Merry Christmas!

With a new year comes a new and reformed eZine - Kishan Patel, vice president shares his thoughts.
The start of the year has been fantastic for the both the sustainability committee and eZine. With a plethora of new articles, and a new design, we hope you enjoy this Christmas edition of eZine.
This term, switch off fortnight took place, and we completed an audit of before and after the event which was hugely successful throughout the school. We hope you take some feedback from the success we've had at school and carry it on into the new year.
This year, the introduction of the new sustainablity committee photographer, Matt Toohig, we've been able to include some fantastic shots of the school, so a huge thank-you to him!
There's not much more to say than a huge thank-you to everyone who has supported the sustainability committee and eZine ventures this year - here's to a very merry Christmas and a fantastic new year ahead,
