Here are some things to consider to ensure circle time is a valuable learning experience. 1. Make circle time an interactive experience by ensuring children are actively involved in the circle time experience rather than just sitting and listing. 2. Use materials and props for the children to physically touch and manipulate, circle time should also be a hands-on experience not just a hands-in-lap experience. 3. Children find it difficult to sit still, so keep circle time fun and engaging by adding movement, rhymes, dance and songs. 4.
