The StART Program

What were your feelings about "Ice on Whte"?

Erin Forbes

I am amazed by what people can do with a block of ice and a pile of tools. The sculptures are fantastic and its neat to see that people from around the world come to see this. Ice on Whyte definetly embraces winter in our city and providing some fun in the cold for kids of all ages:)

Ice on Whyte was a remarkable experience! After volunteering I am now an expert in hot chocolate making. The very next day I took my family and friends there. All the participants are brilliant and it's a really good experience!!

Ice on Whyte, a fantastic feeling. I have seen it before on the news but this was my first time there. I was astonished how creative people were and how they made sculptures from ice. YESS Cafe was fabulous, and the hot chocolate was warming. I was overwhelmed!

Ice on Whyte was something out of the blues for me. Walking among the sculptures I was mesmerized by the beauty of H2O. This was water in another form - snow, ice, mist, fog, freezing rain, these are all the most amazing things I have ever seen.

It was a wonderful experience to participate in the event. Enjoyed the ice sculpturesand hot chocolate. It was also an opportunity to meet some of our staff.
