The Healthcare System of Our Nation
By Alexander Lundstrom
A country
with a health care
system in
shambles is a
daunting; the
thought of
millions of
Americans not
being able to
receive the
medication they
so desperately
need for the
thousands of
disabilities they
face, both
physical and
mental, is
frightening. Does
America really
need patents for
hundreds of
different
medications that
just get shuffled
around to others
who aren’t in
need, anyway?

Looking at the situation in a more broad perspective, it
almost seems like a vicious cycle. Paying for medication that
is subsidized by the government that, in turn, uses that
money —unbeknownst to the public—while medication
continues to be shuffled throughout the country. An
inquisitive individual would be asking why so much
medication is being given out to children as young as three
years old (Shute 1 ???Q????????????????????????)????????????????????????????5????????????????)??????????????????????????????????????????????)?????????????????????????????????????????I???????)???????????e?????????????????????????????????)?????????????????????????????????????????)???????????????????????????????????????????????((0
