Having a stable leader of any organization can be beneficial for that club’s success, as in the case with Broadcast Education Association president Tyler Rogers. Rogers is a current senior at Southeastern Louisiana University, who majors in communication.

Rogers, a Harvey, Louisiana native, knew that he was bound for greatness growing up, but it was not until he reached his peak at age 17 that he realized production was the job for him. Tyler has transformed from the quiet shy kid to an influential leader of one of the four communication clubs around campus.

T-Rog is President

A loyal member of BEA, Aminta Sengtiane, shared her thoughts about the president,

“Tyler is more introverted, but I like it, because that makes him easier to talk to. He makes you feel welcomed to the club and keeps you informed about what’s going on. He makes the club really enjoyable by cracking small jokes and making the atmosphere light. You can tell he really cares about his members because he tries to get to know everyone personally.”
