We ' re thrilled to announce that , for the second year in a row , a McKinney Climate Fellow will be working with us through the summer !
Brianna Christensen , a Georgetown native , is pursuing a Master of Public Affairs and Master of Science in Environmental Science – with a focus on environmental planning for local government – at Indiana University ' s O ' Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs . Brianna will be " digging " into Origin Park ' s reclamation plans for brownfields and landfills and helping us develop materials to tell that story .
OFFICIAL OPENING OF NEW OFFICE WAS A BIG SUCCESS !
On May 30th , River Heritage Conservancy celebrated the official opening of its new offices at 630 Walnut Street , Jeffersonville . Partnering with One Southern Indiana , the event included a ribbon cutting , comments from Lance Allison , CEO of One SI , Jeffersonville Councilman , Bill Burns and RHC CEO , Dennis Schnurbusch II . Of course , no ribbon cutting is complete without cake , cookies , and more .
