Membership Strategy-
Building a Stronger Community
Membership remains the foundation of Experience UK.
However, as both the organisation and the sector have evolved, so too must our membership model.
Our ambition is not simply to increase membership numbers, but to create a more representative, engaged and collaborative community that reflects the breadth of the experience economy.
To achieve this, Experience UK has introduced a more clearly defined membership structure, enabling us to tailor activity, communications and opportunities to the needs of different parts of the sector.
Our Membership Communities
• Experience Creators – designers, architects, producers, engineers, technology specialists and consultants.
• Operators – theme parks, attractions, museums, heritage organisations, cultural venues and visitor destinations.
• Location-Based Entertainment – immersive experiences, competitive socialising, experiential retail and live entertainment.
• Place Shapers – developers, investors, local authorities, destination organisations and asset owners.
• Strategic Partners – organisations providing professional services, finance, legal expertise, marketing, logistics and specialist support.
• Future Talent – education providers, universities, colleges and emerging professionals entering the sector.

By recognising the distinct needs of each community while encouraging collaboration between them, Experience UK will create greater value for members and strengthen the wider ecosystem.
Growth will be achieved through stronger member engagement, improved onboarding, proactive retention, increased commercial value and targeted recruitment across under-represented sectors.

Experience UK will continue to improve member value by providing more targeted engagement, stronger sector representation and increased opportunities to connect with partners, clients, investors and government.
