THE DELUXE GROUP

Creating Interior Experiences with a Difference

T he Deluxe Group is combining creativity, innovation, and artisan craftmanship to carve out a successful reputation as a contractor internationally across sectors such as theme park attractions, luxury hospitality, residential and cruise line interiors. They were recently awarded the prestigious King’ s Award for Enterprise for International Trade. The company has delivered projects in Europe, USA, Middle East and Japan.

Film IP brought to life

The company has been trusted by clients to bring to life iconic film and TV shows in immersive attractions with an authenticity that delights fans around the world.
Having started their journey into themed construction at Disneyland Paris in 1992, Deluxe returned to Paris for the 4D Ratatouille Dark Ride Attraction where guests shrink down to the size of Remy and scurry to safety in a dazzling chase in trackless vehicles across a giant set. The project includes interior fit out of themed restaurant Chez Remy where guests feast on French cuisine in the Parisian bistro straight from the world of a Disney Pixar classic. Seats are framed with giant plates and tables are jam jar lids in this larger than life-eatery.
At Motiongate in Dubai the company created sets for dark rides such as Hotel Transylvania, Ghostbusters, Underworld and Green Hornet. The sets were designed and prefabricated in Northern Ireland and then shipped to the UAE allowing the installation to be fast-tracked onsite.
Locally the company helped create the Game of Thrones Studio Tour which features the original sets, props and costumes in the principal film studios in Northern Ireland for the HBO hit TV show and tells the behind-the-scenes story of how the show was brought to screen.

Design & fabrication technology

The increasing use of innovation in 3D design software, scanning of hero props and facility buildings, BIM management and 5 axis fabrication are all being combined to give The Deluxe Group a leading edge in their sector.
3D scanning interiors allows the company to capture accurate information within a short time to create a digital model, providing the foundation to reimagine the venue and the flexibility to try out new layouts and concepts in real time. This is particularly seen in their work in the cruise industry. Previsualisations help to envision how the space will look before production commences, while accurate dimensions can be used for prefabrication, creating greater project efficiencies such as during the refurbishment of The
