Bill Hayley
Bill ’ s design career started at Kingston School of Art . Founded Haley Sharpe Design in 1982 with currently 70 creatives in our team , which has a focus on the Heritage and Cultural sector . In the last 25 years Bill has been designing major projects within the Experience Economy . The portfolio of works can be seen at the visitor centre Stonehenge , the Smithsonian National History Museum DC , Tower of London , Harriet Tubman Visitor Centre Maryland , Oman Botanical Gardens , Mail Rail visitor experience London , Gateway Arch Museum St Louis , and the Royal Ontario Museum Toronto . The UK has a huge pool of creative talent which is a very visible strength within the UK ’ s creative industries economy .
Dawn Foote
Dawn Foote is Co-founder and CEO of Katapult which she founded with her business partners in 2001 . Since then Dawn has built a team of entertainment industry specialists into a worldwide creative studio designing themed attractions and experiences . Dawn has a wealth of experience in guest destination , the cultural sector and strategic collaborations .
Dawn has worked with IP owners such as LEGO , BBC , Cartoon Network and Dreamworks and has personally activated projects in the Middle East , delivered globally with Merlin Entertainments , as well as locally with The Wildlife Trust .
TJ Hart
TJ has worked at Merlin Entertainments since 2009 . Initially as a part-time food & beverage host at Thorpe Park Resort , TJ has subsequently worked at Chessington World of Adventures Resort , Weymouth SEA LIFE and the Blackpool Tower in a variety of commercial & operational roles . In his current position , TJ is responsible for Merlin ’ s Midway Site Search activity across European markets . Outside of meeting Landlords and potential partners , TJ turns out for his local rugby club and can be regularly spotted at the Emirates Stadium as an Arsenal FC season ticket holder .
Ray Hole
Ray Hole is an international , award winning architect with over 30 years ’ experience gained in highly creative , multi-disciplinary design environments as ; strategist , master planner , architect , structural engineer and designer . This background ultimately led him to start his own design and consultancy practice in order to provide expression to ‘ experience economy ’ philosophy .
Completed projects include ; Snowdon Summit Visitor Centre , Hannover Rainforest House , Ripley ’ s and Kidzania ( London ), Volkswagen ’ s Autostadt , ZSL London Zoo ( Land of the Lions ), London Paramount plus design development on museums for Saudi Aramco , and the Collaboration Centre for the Kuwait Oil Company - demonstrating a diversity of clients , cultures and business sectors ( public and private ) where the belief that ‘ architecture ’ is but one of a range of important mediums by which greater ‘ value ’ can be realised for clients , stakeholders , end-users , society in general and the environment .
Anais Aguerre
Anaïs Aguerre is founder and managing director of Culture Connect , a consultancy specialising in unlocking the collaborative and international potential of the cultural sector ; harnessing its ability to build bridges between people , institutions and countries .
Prior to this , Anaïs worked for 15 years as a consultant and senior museum professional . She was notably Head of International Initiatives at the V & A ( London ) where she led the pioneer partnership between CMG and V & A resulting in the opening of the new V & A Gallery at Design Society in Shenzhen , China , and worked at the British Museum on developing the Museum ’ s international strategy and generating innovative income streams .
Anaïs graduated from the Institute d ’ Etudes Politiques de Paris ( SciencesPo ) and was awarded an MA in History of Art and Architecture at Birkbeck College , University of London in 2013 .
Emily Smith
Emily Smith specialises in market and audience development for the cultural and museum sector , delivered through creative projects , partnerships and communications . Her 25-year career spans museum , cultural and creative sectors in leading organisations including the Natural History Museum , London Philharmonic Orchestra , Atlantic Productions , Royal Court Theatre and the National Gallery .
For leading production company Atlantic Productions , Emily recently collaborated with the Field Museum , Chicago to develop a 24 ’ digital diorama featuring SUE , their celebrity T . rex and with London ’ s Science Museum to develop and implement Space Descent VR with Tim Peake .
She led the programming of temporary exhibitions , events , digital strategy and marketing for London ’ s Natural History Museum where highlights included Atlantic ’ s David Attenborough ’ s First Life VR and Great Barrier Reef Dive VR , redevelopment of the museum ’ s website and CRM system and ground breaking partnership with Sky and Atlantic Productions : David Attenborough ’ s Natural History Museum Alive 3D .
