Middle East – International exhibition organiser , dmg events , which is focusing hard on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia , is to launch Saudi Machinery Expo in 2024 . The exhibition will mark the company ’ s seventh launch in the Kingdom this year , making a total of 22 events . The expo will enable the Kingdom ’ s expanding machinery and equipment sector to grow in line with the goals of the national Vision 2030 programme . Saudi Machinery Expo will run as part of a cluster of events at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Centre ( RICEC ), 2 – 4 September 2024 .
Africa – UFI , the global association of the exhibition industry , will hold its Middle East & Africa ( MEA ) Conference in Kigali , Rwanda , 15-17 April 2024 . The event will be hosted by the Rwanda Convention Bureau and held at the Kigali Convention Centre . Open to all exhibition industry professionals , the 2024 edition will build upon the success of past UFI MEA Conferences , including the 2023 edition in Doha , Qatar , which drew more than 150 participants . The conference will feature deep dives on industry-critical topics , networking with the region ’ s top decision-makers and social events .
Asia – Hong Kong ’ s plans to expand as centre for aviation and related events soar to new level .
The destination recently successfully hosted the 3rd JCtrans Global Freight Forwarders Expo and International Air Transport Association ( IATA ) Aviation Day at AsiaWorld-Expo ( AWE ), 29 August .
On top of the home-grown Asian Logistics , Maritime and Aviation Conference ( ALMAC ), to be held in November this year , the IATA World Cargo Symposium 2024 , Aero-Engines Asia-Pacific 2024 and Super Terminal Expo 2024 will all be staged in Hong Kong for the first time .
