Asia – The president of Thailand
Convention & Exhibition Bureau ( TCEB ) has said that trade shows are a key platform towards achieving economic growth in the country . This was underlined by news of several highprofile events scheduled to take place later in the year .
Following the lifting of several requirements , TCEB president Chiruit Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya said that he expects a strong sector recovery in the second half of 2022 .
Europe – IFEMA MADRID reports that it has made a ‘ strong comeback ’ in the last six months , following the peak of the Covid-19 health crisis .
In the first six months of 2022 , IFEMA states that it has accelerated its operations to prepandemic levels . The institution ’ s income has already exceeded € 115m ($ 115.2m ), which is 30 % more than was foreseen in the budget . January ’ s FITUR show , an international tourism trade show organised by IFEMA MADRID , is accredited with starting IFEMA ’ s recent incline .
North America – Resorts World Las Vegas unveiled its Las Vegas Convention Centre Loop passenger station on 30 June , which will use Tesla electric cars to transport delegates underground to the Las Vegas Convention Centre ( LVCC ).
The resort hotel aims to connect to the Vegas Loop when the underground transportation system ’ s upcoming developments progress .
Of the over 55 stations planned , these planned the Resorts World Las Vegas passenger station will be the first created .
