World – Hyve Group has reported
HY21 results which , the company said , showed “ a robust financial position ” enabling it to emerge strongly from the pandemic and meet pent-up demand for events , while accelerating its omnichannel strategy . Cost management and secured confirmation of £ 49m of insurance proceeds in H1 helped the balance sheet . Hyve ran 12 in-person events and 80 virtual events in H1 , despite the disruption caused by Covid-19 . The company acquired Retail Meetup in December 2020 .
Dubai – The 28th edition of Arabian
Travel Market returned to Dubai in person 16-19 May . The show is the region ’ s largest for travel and tourism , and took place at the Dubai World Trade Centre .
HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum , CEO and founder of the Emirates Group and chairman of Dubai World , officially inaugurated the show .
Vaccinations , innovations in tech , travel corridors , marketing and product diversification were discussed in the opening sessions on the ATM Global Stage .
Abu Dhabi – A new global exhibition and conference addressing the future of low carbon power and water supplies will debut at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre , 9-11 May 2022 . A multi-year deal for the World Utilities Congress between the UAE authorities , venue and organiser dmg events , will see the in-person event hosted by The Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC ( TAQA ) and supported by the Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure and Abu Dhabi Department of Energy .
