Welcome to Abu Dhabi
bu Dhabi is a destination that remains very close to my heart . I lived there between 2007 and 2016 , in both the Garden City of Al Ain and the capital of Abu Dhabi itself , so when the opportunity arose to write about it as an events destination , I jumped at the chance .
Abu Dhabi is the largest emirate in the United Arab Emirates , and in this supplement , we will aspire to show off the very best of what it has to offer .
We begin on p6 with an overview of the emirate and broadly what if offers , before exploring more about the Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau and how they have evolved to ensure events run as safely and as smoothly as possible in this new era .
We will also explore key sectors in the region , before powering through some the emirate ’ s finest venues between p12 and p17 , starting with the jewel in the crown : Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre .
Towards the end of the supplement we will explore the various teambuilding activities and attractions , something which is not in short supply .
