How do you train staff for future success ? RA : Earlier this year we introduced our leadership development program . We put 12 of our future leaders through a modular program , for six months and we ’ ve just completed our first round which is brilliant . We ’ re already seeing several promotions from that group . AW : They feel that we value our next level of leaders so much that we invest in them . It also empowers them , they learned so much through it , and now they ’ ve got a bigger understanding of budgeting or finance side of things and things they might not have been involved in , in their day to day roles .
That ’ s something that I ’ m really genuinely keen on in the businesses empowerment , making people feel valued .
