Anna Valley Inspiration Showcase
Audio-visual and entertainment technology company Anna Valley ’ s annual Inspiration Showcase will return to Tobacco Dock from 9-13 January 2023 .
The showcase will celebrate the return to live events with creative technology demon-strations designed to inspire and inform event professionals . Each year the content and technology at the Inspiration Showcase is tied together with a theme that reflects industry sentiments and future trends . The 2023 Inspiration Showcase will ‘ Bring back the fun ’ with a funfair-inspired event that celebrates everything that only in-person experiences can deliver as events return to live .
“ Our Inspiration Showcase is quickly becoming an annual feature in the event industry calendar and it ’ s a great way to kickstart the new year ,” said Nick Hart , commercial director at Anna Valley . “ We ’ re thrilled to be returning to Tobacco Dock to deliver another showcase to inspire and inform event professionals for the year to come .”

Christmas show success is ideal
Media 10 ’ s Ideal Home Show Christmas reached capacity by midday on opening day with 10,000 people in attendance at Olympia London .
Media 10 CEO Lee Newton said : “ On a dreary Wednesday morning amidst talk of recession , inflation , consumer confidence and energy prices we opened the doors to the Ideal Home Show Christmas and by noon we had reached our 10,000 visitor capacity .
“ It really was a day none of us will forget and testimony to the whole team at Media 10 for putting on such a spectacular event .”
Back for its eleventh year at Olympia , Media 10 ’ s event , on 23 to 26 November welcomed more than 300 exhibitors and 50,000 visitors . As well as shopping , the event features live entertainment , celebrity chefs , expert demos and gifts , home and food ideas .
ExCeL set to expand 25 % further
ExCeL London is on course to expand its venue facilitates by a further 25 % to 125,000sqm , having completed the first phase of its major expansion project .
Further expansion at the venue will create additional convention facilities , exhibition halls and conference rooms , together with outdoor spaces .
Within the new event space will be 12,000sqm of exhibition space on the ground floor , integrated into the existing venue . This will be complemented on the upper level with high-end convention space , modern meeting rooms and catering facilities .
In line with its current ESG strategy , ExCeL said it has sought to create the most sustainable scheme possible and will be targeting a Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method ( BREEAM ) rating of ‘ Excellent ’ – surpassing the recognised industry standard .
