“ It was a journey of understanding how to get better control of my home , but at the same time my events brain was going ‘ there really is an opportunity for this ’.”
expect from them . That perhaps needs to shift a bit . “ I get the benefits of bringing people together , I ’ m a huge events advocate , but there are so many different elements that need to change . “ The most wonderful thing for me is I go and pick up my children from nursery but that gives me a break so that when I then come back and work through the night , I ’ m more efficient . There ’ s so many articles on all the benefits it brings once you become a parent , I have more empathy , I am more emotional . So there ’ s things that in a workplace would impact me very differently . And also sometimes feel like shit , when it comes to sleep and things like that , but if anything I ’ m more driven than ever , I work harder than ever .” Luckily her hard work and juggling paid off . The launch show was a huge success with both her community ’ s top influencers Mrs Hinch and Stacey Solomon paying a visit . Moyses quotes a statistic that 67 % of people lie about having a cleaner , a fact that taps into the ethos of her business . “ We ’ re covering parenthood , pet ownership , mental health , hygiene , poverty and various other things . We really want to harness and challenge stereotypes when it comes to the home and make sure that everybody is confident enough to do what they need to do in their home . That their homes work for them . “ We are huge advocates for cleaning and home organising as professions . There should be no shame in that . People should find it easier to accept help , and the service providers should be seen in a different way . “ Just speaking to people , whether that ’ s our charity partners , or our association partners , our brands and our visitors , really understanding their challenges , their wants and needs , and how we can help them , really excites me .” Following the success of this year ’ s show The Clean and Tidy Show will be back at ExCeL 14-15 October 2023 . Moyses is also exploring partnerships with big name brands and options for regionalised meetups for her community throughout the year . EN
