News The month at a glance Easyfairs partners with SGS to ensure visitor safety Easyfairs has entered into a partnership with SGS, an inspection, verification, testing and certification company, to ensure that the health and wellbeing of visitors, exhibitors and Easyfairs employees is safeguarded at its events and venues. Easyfairs has selected SGS to review its enhanced cleaning protocols. SGS will be inspecting to ensure that the protocols meet the highest international standards, including those for the prevention of and protection against the spread of Covid-19. SGS will also be validating Easyfairs’ training plans for its employees on implementation of the enhanced health and safety protocols, and developing a control and monitoring program to ensure these standards are maintained throughout its events across the world. To register your interest visit: https:// bit.ly/designscapehome Outdoor Expo sells 8,500 tickets A raft of outdoor brands including Ellis Brigham, Salomon, Adidas TERREX, HOKA ONE ONE, Outdoor GPS Shop, Vibram, AfterShokz, Pinpoint Pro and Flanci have signed up to exhibit at Raccoon Events’ National Outdoor Expo. Since announcing the launch through EN on 4 June the organiser has sold over 8,500 tickets for the show, taking place at the NEC in Birmingham, 27-28 March 2021. The show, in partnership with Ordnance Survey, features an Inspiration Stage and Outdoor Skills Theatre that will play host to industry experts including Ben Fogle and James Cracknell. The show will also feature a Wash, Care and Repair zone in partnership with Gore Tex, Live Cooking Demos with expedition chef Kieran Creevy, outdoor cinema with Kendal Mountain Festival, Trail Running Zone with We Run Trail plus a rope walk, zip line and climbing wall.
