Drug traffickers are destroying native cultures of indigenous communities. Drug trafficking is the trade of toxic substances. The drug trade involves toxic substances, which contains the manufacture, distribution, sales, market control, and drug consumption and recycling, are quite harmful to health. The UN report analyzes the situation of fundamental rights and freedoms of indigenous people and consists of six asides concerning poverty, culture, environment, education, health and human rights. Its most important conclusion is reiterated that indigenous cultures are under threat of extinction.

The damage to the environment involves the forced migration of indigenous, African communities. Some of the causes of forced migration are growing coca because drug traffickers are forcing communities to leave their lands to grow coca that ends biodiversity. Illicit crops, deforestation, divert rivers, polluting water, it damages the ecosystem and to eliminate these indigenous resources have to find a place to live, where they can plant.
