For our Exhibition project, we decided to honor the Earth's Day joining to the whole school, and showing them different types of plants that can grow in the high plateau. Teachers and children planted them on the shore of the Teusacá River, which runs next to Tilatá school. We used everyone's help to do something good for the planet, for the nature, and for ourselves, since trees release the oxigene for us to breath. We all learned how to take care of the plants, and reflected about what we do for the planet, and how we can make it a better place. The fifth graders also planted creole corn, because it is an important product for our economy and our food. Tilatá's community had a lot of fun! You can also do this at your school, or with your family.
