Crowne Plaza adds to South Coast
IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed its first hotel on the NSW South Coast with the Crowne Plaza Shell Cove Marina set to open in 2025 . It will be part of a $ 1.5 billion master-planned coastal residential , commercial and tourist project within the Shellharbour region , near to Wollongong . The overall development will include a man-made in-shore harbour and a 270-berth marina , as well as a town centre with a supermarket , retail outlets , restaurants , a library , a community centre , parklands and , of course , the hotel .
The 181-room Crowne Plaza will showcase the brand ’ s new hallmark design innovations and trademark features that – the Plaza Workspace , with open and inviting interiors that cater to the flow of foot traffic , for example . EAs will also find three food and beverage outlets ( including a café and a chic restaurant and bar ) plus extensive meeting and events space .
Marking IHG ’ s entry into the picturesque NSW South Coast and its continued expansion into regional Australia , the hotel boasts a prime location , just one-and-a-half hours from Sydney . Out of office time , your exec ’ s guests can enjoy access to the region ’ s natural attractions or play a round of golf at the 18-hole championship Links Shell Cove golf course , which is just a few minutes ’ drive away . A $ 40m renovation takes Pullman Melbourne on the Park to the next level
The Pullman Melbourne on the Park has unveiled a $ 40 million renovation across its 419 rooms .
The new look includes 19 floors of completely upgraded superior , premium and deluxe rooms and suites , as well as a new executive lounge and the William Clarke Sky Villa .
The re-opening comes as Melbourne ’ s hotels are experiencing a steady increase in occupancy and forward bookings for the remainder of 2022 . S
