AIME 2022 is a roaring success

It ’ s official : face-to-face events boost business growth and AIME in 2022 is a perfect example . After crunching the numbers , organisers report that the three-day event stimulated $ 120 million in business events , helping to drive economic recovery and get people back to meetings once more .
Results of a global AIME survey , conducted earlier this year with 450 meetings and event organisers , revealed 50 % cite face-to-face meetings as best business growth booster for the industry . Their main reason ? It cements vital relationships .
Following a one-year hiatus , AIME 2022 clearly demonstrated its value for both exhibitors and buyers . More than 94 % of exhibitors were impressed with their return on investment and 95 % agreed AIME is the event to make important business connections . This was due to its “ great atmosphere ” ( 83 %) and “ strong reputation ( 81 %).
And what an atmosphere it was ! There were 1660 visitor buyer and suppliers , 230 exhibitors and 320 hosted buyers , and the energy in the Knowledge Exchange sessions , on the show floor and at the social events was palpable .
Attendees were also treated to a spectacular opening night at Melbourne ’ s newest conference and event space – CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park . Guests arrived by boat on the Yarra River and were greeted by roving acrobats and stilt walkers ahead of a dazzling evening of entertainment and gourmet hospitality – plus a first look at the venue . aime . com . au
Celebrating 30 years next year , AIME 2023 will be held at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre on 13 – 15 February 2023
