ITB Asia travel trade show

From October 19 to 21 at Marine Bay Sands in Singapore, ITB Asia stages its annual three-day travel trade show catering to MICE, Corporate, Leisure and Travel & Technology markets. Boasting 15,000 square metres of exhibition space ITB Asia will host more than 760 exhibitors. Event Show‘ electric’

One highlight of The Event Show, staged by MEA on August 25 and 26 was Australia’ s Electric Horseman, Greg Anderson, who certainly lit up the stage at the Royal Randwick ballroom when he galloped in ablaze with LED lights covering him and his trusty steed. Greg sang, joked, showed some examples of communication with his quarter horse then got the audience involved in whip-cracking. He was part of a

Another highlight was Chris Tillman, Google’ s Event Technology guru, who outlined how Google develops their technology strategies for events and the‘ four pillars’ of their planning process.

Luxperience 2017

Another Luxperience show has successfully come and gone for 2016, but already dates are announced for the sixth annual event. Luxperience 2017 is scheduled for September 17-20 in Sydney at a venue to be announced. This event is unique in that it is the only travel trade forum of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere that connects the world’ s most exclusive travel providers dealing in luxury and experiential travel with the elite travel designers from the leisure, corporate and MICE sectors. In the 2017 event the Thought Leaders Forum will be enhanced and new award categories will recognise the business events and personal development seminar sectors of the industry.

PCO’ s annual gathering

Professional conference organisers and event managers will gather this November in Brisbane for the ninth annual PCOA Conference and Exhibition. Staged at Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from November 27 to 29 the theme is: Connect Collaborate Differentiate. Apart from key trends and business innovation, a series of workshops will be run in four separate streams, allowing coverage of both professional and personal topics.
