Meet & Greet

On 4 August, a new Meet & Greet session was organised in Managua, Nicaragua. The informal gathering was hosted by Prof. Johan Bastiaensen and alumnus Pierre Merlet. Several alumni have also indicated their willingness to take up a leading role in the alumni chapter. Hopefully the IOB alumni Nicaragua chapter will be operational soon!

IOB @ European Development Days

The European Development Days have become an annual event in the IOB students’ calendar. On 7 and 8 June 2017, a small delegation of IOB students and staff went to Brussels to meet the‘ crème de la crème‘ of the development community, to listen and participate in the current debates and pick up new ideas or share experiences with others. A good opportunity for IOB students to get inspired, ask critical questions and … network!
