The Stand
Preparation for the stand at shows needs to be commenced now so that everything is in place including a guide
for future organisers.
the same location would be excellent however those on the end of the row such as position C1 had far more
room available next to the stand,
There was a difference of opinion on the effectiveness of the vehicle on the stand. The vehicle took up a lot of
room which could be used for other things. This could be overcome by having site C1 or C4 which have plenty
of room beside the stand.
Provide table and chair for people to fill out forms.
An area out of site for volunteers to eat rather than have lunch in the display area
10.
Most importantly preparation for future shows regardless on when and where needs to be commenced
now

NT Pajero Manual Gearbox Breather
Tube Installation
BACKGROUND
A couple of people have mentioned to me that they have had breathers installed in their front and back diffs but NOT
installed for the gearbox or transfer case.
I have heard excuses like “it is too hard” or “they cannot be fitted”.
This is incorrect and it is possible to fit them but it is very hard as there is very little space.
I have a manual 2009 NT Pajero, but I think the same solution will work with any Generation 4 Pajero, 2006 and later.
PROBLEM
The gearbox and transfer box share a breather pipe and problem is that the breather tube ends with a one-way rubber
valve just above the bellhousing and it is impossible to see. There is about 3cm between the back of the engine and the
firewall to access the top of the bell housing where the breather tube ends.
I was unable to find a Gen 4 manual gearbox picture but the picture below will assist in understanding the location.
The picture below shows a Gen 3 manual gearbox with the location of the breather tube:
