Warmly welcomed. Question: what does it cost to develop a car from scratch? - $500m to bring to market. Our
market is not different to other businesses as the look to develop synergies. Nissan Renault Alliance. Mitsubishi:
34% purchased by Nissan who are more into passenger vehicles. Mitsubishi has great opportunity to develop 4WD
vehicles. Annual cars sales will be some 10m. 23% of Triton production is in Victoria. Stephen thanked the Club for

Simon presented a history on the Pajero. In 1953 Mitsubishi purchased a license to clone a Jeep. 1973 the Pajero was
born. Name taken from Southern Argentinean - Gato Pajero - or Grass Cat. 1983 - won the Paris Dakar Rally. Win
12 of 26 rallies. Now in fourth generation from 1982. What does the future hold? At present it is an unknown. New
features is a SDA utilizing Apple Play and other features. Highlighted company website and features you can explore.
Unit uses Google Maps. Android only at present. Load Google Maps onto phone and sync with car unit. Lots of
hand free features including voice control. Biggest gripe is no GPS. Detailed his own trip data from Mitcham to Mt
Beauty and return. What can be done on the phone can be done on the unit. Navigation data available pity is flawed
in no mobile service. Hema or other mapping devices a solution. Quite a number of questions that were answered
on this unit. Pajero Sport replaced the Challenger. Detailed the differences between the Sport and the Pajero. The
Sport appears a much smarted and better appointed vehicle and surprisingly a much better ball weight total. Water
screening with MU-X as against the Sport. The MU-X was drenched and you could not see. The Sport windscreen
was clear. Highlighted the new Eclipse due out at the year’s end. No bullbar available for the Sport Exceed. Care needs
to be taken not to exceed the front axle mass with the adding of a bullbar/winch.
