Positivity
After becoming cognitive of your thoughts
consider the following:
• Do you agree with your critical intruder?
• Would you be proud of your thinking if your
best friend could hear what you were
thinking?
• Would you call your friends the names your
critical intruder calls you?
• Are you happy with what your
sub-conscious mind is bringing into your
life?
You are living in your current circumstances
because of what you were thinking yesterday,
a week ago and a year ago.
It’s time to stop blaming others for the
misfortunes in our lives. We should take a
long hard look at ourselves, when we acknowledge our faults we can move beyond
them and change the circumstances we are
living in.

For many of us we have an abuser living in
our heads, this voice talks down to us, insults
us and tells us we can’t or won’t achieve our
goals. You would do everything in your power
to escape an abuser if you had one in your
house, therefore I encourage you to escape
the one that is always with you, taunting you
and abusing you, more than any other person
ever could. It is in taking this action that your
life will miraculously change.
The best way to fully understand how to
challenge your abuser is to have a Thought
Diary. See the example below. Completing a
Thought Diary everyday helps you to become
cognitive of your thinking all the time. You will
become aware of how these thoughts make
you feel and behave.
After recording your thoughts for a period of time, you will be able to notice trends and
circumstance that cause you to think negativity. In the next edition we will look at the next step to
removing negative thoughts, challenging them and altering your thinking.
Send us 2 weeks of your Thought Diary and stand a chance to win a personal session with
specialist life coach and cognitive behavioural therapist Candice Wilson. The winner will be
published in next month’s edition.
