Global – The International
Federation of Exhibition and Event Services( IFES) and the International Exhibition Logistics Association( IELA) have signed a two-year Memorandum of Understanding. The agreement recognises the essential role logistics plays within the exhibition value chain, reflecting a mutual commitment to streamline collaboration across the entire workflow – from creative concept to delivery on the show floor. The MoU formalises a relationship that has long been reflected in practice. With many shared members, IFES and IELA already operate very closely.
Middle East – Saudi Arabia’ s Public
Investment Fund( PIF) has created Expo 2030 Riyadh Company, a dedicated entity to execute the kingdom’ s World Expo 2030 commitment. The move marks a key operational phase in the country’ s Vision 2030 agenda, as it accelerates preparations to host international events that reinforce its non-oil economic ambitions. The new company will oversee the planning and management of all Expo-related infrastructure. Located near the upcoming King Salman International Airport, the Expo site aims to maximise accessibility while supporting Riyadh’ s transformation into a global destination.
Europe – UK-based Raccoon Media
Group, the international organiser behind 20 trade and consumer events, has signed a three-year agreement with Explori, the global customer experience( CX) research specialists. Raccoon, which opened the doors to its first event just seven years ago, now employs over 50 members of staff and operates in UK, Europe and the US. Mike Seaman, group CEO and founder, said the partnership with Explori would significantly enhance the organiser’ s ability to gather and apply customer and market intelligence –“ a vital step in supporting our growth strategy.”
