Global – Leading exhibition organisers, including Clarion Events, Comexposium, Emerald, Informa Markets, Messe Frankfurt and RX, will join forces on 3 June 2026, to mark the 11th edition of Global Exhibitions Day( GED). GED 2026 unites the industry under the theme‘ Exhibitions Drive Opportunities’, with a call to action for businesses, policymakers and communities worldwide to recognise the transformative power of exhibitions – environments where SMEs discover international markets, and where human connection delivers a level of trust that cannot be replaced by digital interaction, the association points out.

Bhd‘ s 6th Edition of Electronics Manufacturing Expo Asia( EMAX) and the 5th Edition of Penang Manufacturing Expo( PMAX) will run, 22 – 24 July 2026 at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre, Penang, and be colocated with the 2nd Edition of Semiconductor Manufacturing Expo Asia( SMAX), Asia Sustainable Factories Expo( ASFAX), and the newly introduced Circuit Tech Expo Asia( CirTech). The five co-located exhibitions will showcase the latest advancements shaping the future of electronics, semiconductor manufacturing, automation, and sustainable industrial solutions.
Americas – The Women in Exhibitions
Network unveiled a new board for its North America chapter, with directors serving until August 2027. The organisation, founded in 2018, supports the career development of women in the sector. The North America leadership team includes: president Toni Piela, head of strategy and M & A at RX North America; VP Elizabeth George, senior conference lead at HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition, part of Informa Connect; secretary Melissa Ooi, VP of manufacturing at Nineteen Group and membership director Dana Freker Doody, owner at Inktide Solutions.
