Since moving to Amsterdam in 2018, the event has grown significantly, attracting participants from more than 85 countries. But growth has not just been about scale.
“ One of the key challenges is staying relevant to both a global audience and the local ecosystem,” Davies explains.“ That means creating meaningful connections across the industry.”
The role of the venue as connector RAI Amsterdam plays a central role in enabling those connections.
“ Fintech sits at the interaction of technology and regulation,” says Durant.“ That’ s why connecting organisers with policymakers, regulators and industry leaders is so important.”
A clear example is the RAI’ s role in connecting Money20 / 20 with Techleap and its Special Envoy Prince Constantijn van Oranje. Strengthening the event’ s link to the Dutch and European start-up ecosystem.
