UK events industry , I was taken aback by its energy , creativity , and the incredible entrepreneurial spirit of those people who make it all happen . What really stood out the most was the events community , the engagement and the support from everyone . Many times over the years I have pondered on : “ How can I make a real difference ? Or more recently even ; Where can I find the support and connections to help me on my career path ?” As the new CEO of the Association of Event Organisers ( AEO ), I now know that engaging with the AEO can answer these questions and do so much more .
