From the natural look to an airbrushed face. From narrow to curvy. From high waisted to half naked and back again. Society has warped the word beauty to mean something that it is not. Beauty is definied as something that is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but since when did that become perfection? Makeup, plastic surgery, and photoshop are all tools that are used to make women appear unrealistically perfect. Even though we are taught that there is no such thing as perfect, the media sure has a way of making that hard for the young women of this generation to believe.
