CAREER SOURCE FLORIDA Career Source Florida offers Employee Training programs to build and retain your team with The Incumbent Worker Training Program that upgrades existing team’ s skills to heighten morale, improve retention and advancement in your company, with financial assistance provided through the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act( WIOA).
On-the-Job Training provides the opportunity to train new hires in their actual work environment, while a portion of the employee’ s wages may be reimbursed to the employer during the training period.
Quick Response Training Program( QRT) is an employer-driven training program that is customizable, flexible, and responsive to individual company needs and designed to assist new and existing businesses with the necessary training for expansion. The company may use in-house training, outside vendor training programs or a local educational entity to provide training. This program includes reimbursable training expenses through the FloridaFlex training grants program.
FloridaFlex is a customized grant program to help cover training costs for new hires and to assist small businesses with employee skills upgrades.
