The hospital will add a variety of clinical and non-clinical roles as well, including 109 new employees in the first year, increasing to 150 total in the second year. The hospital opening has prompted out-of-state talent to move to the Daytona Beach community as well, Parker said.

AdventHealth North of its future State Road 207 ER, AdventHealth also acquired 21.5 acres of land near I-95 in the World Commerce Center. UF Health Durbin Park This 42.5-acre health and wellness campus will cover another aspect of regional care for Jacksonville and St. Johns County. Once completed, the 395,000-square-foot hospital will include acute, intensive and emergency care. The project will create 2,000 new jobs and is a $ 1 billion investment.
TyMe Institute TyMe Institute anticipates opening later this year at The Fountains in St. Johns. With its 30,000-plus square feet, it will operate as a cancer prevention clinic. The total expected investment by the TyMe Institute in land, facilities and equipment is approximately $ 20.5 million and is expected to create 54 high-wage jobs for the area.
HCA Healthcare HCA Healthcare is building a freestanding emergency room in St. Augustine. The project is expected to be built at 870 and 890 Florida 16, northeast of Publix in the Shoppes of Mission Trace shopping center, according to Auld & White Constructors.
Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Daytona Beach
Mayo Clinic Mayo Clinic continues developing its North Campus, which includes clearing 39.5 acres north of WM Davis Parkway. This project adds to the current San Pablo Road campus, which first opened in 2008. The estimated project cost is $ 4.67 million, according to J. B. Coxwell Contracting. Mayo Clinic also recently introduced a five-floor patient tower expansion, which created 166 new patient beds within medical / surgical nursing units.
