What We Do
FC3’ s work is rooted in its strategic plan and its three core pillars: Support, Advocacy, and Collaboration.
• Support: In 2024 and 2025, FC3 awarded a total of $ 50,000 in scholarships to graduating Flagler County high school seniors pursuing studies in the arts and humanities— five scholarships of $ 5,000 each year. Additional support extends through the Cultural Arts Grant program, managed in partnership with the City of Palm Coast, with designated leadership provided by Grant Administrator Julia Truilo.
• Advocacy: Regular engagement with local and state officials strengthens FC3’ s position as a champion for arts, history and culture, ensuring the sectors remain represented, funded and supported. FC3 is also preparing to take on management of the Tourism Marketing Grants in 2026.
• Collaboration: From the countywide master calendar to quarterly roundtables for arts leaders, FC3 actively sparks collaboration. Ongoing creative partnerships include the Flagler County Turtle Trail, updated public art maps, involvement with the Flagler County Education Foundation, and integration of the Turtle Trail into the local school curriculum. Students across the county also contributed to the soon-to-be-released first volume of the Turtle Trail book. Additional projects include the launch of a Florida Highwaymen-inspired mural in Bunnell in 2026 and ongoing sponsorship of the annual student photography contest at the Creekside Festival.
Why It Matters
FC3 believes that thriving arts and humanities enrich the entire community— culturally, economically and educationally. By supporting artists, organizations and students, advocating for resources, and fostering meaningful collaboration, FC3 helps ensure that creativity remains a vibrant and defining part of life in Flagler County.
As Albert Einstein once said,“ Imagination is the highest form of research.” FC3 continues to champion that imagination— now and for generations to come. Find out more at www. FlaglerArtsandCulture. org.
