were teenagers and Kelly’s gone from being just a colleague to a really close friend. After a long day’s shopping, I decided to put them in hot pink dresses that made each of them look fabu- lous. Chris asked his brothers to share the job of best man, and he and his gentlemen went for grey tails with ivory waistcoats and pink cravats. To help him stand out, Chris flipped the col- ours and looked very handsome in a pink waistcoat. Rather than table numbers, we went for themes. We ended up with a music table, comic book table and cake table, and deco- rated them using a decoupaged wine bottle on a circular mir- ror, with a generous sprinkling of gems everywhere and a pink gerbera in each bottle. Pink and ivory balloons, pink sashes on the chairs and a candy filled Fer- ris wheel completed our décor. I enjoy cross stitch, so I stitched the designs for the invitations and table plan, and Chris put his DIY skills to the test making a photo wall for our guests to take pictures with. tried to go back to sleep, but I was just too excited! At seven I went into my sisters’ room and bounced on a chair until it was time for breakfast.
