Do you sell the pads to the girls, if so at what cost?

We do not sell lunapads to girls directly, big organizations buy these pads from us and donate them to various organizations that works with girls in Africa and other continents e.g. schools and in return we also provide patent and materials to local groups in these continents who are now making these pads to sustain themselves.

Do you train how to use these pads hygienically/, cosidering these pads should not be cleaned with perfumed soap and must be well rinsed till water is clear when cleaning.

Yes we do trainings on how to take clean and sanitize these pads to reduce possibilities of infections. Our package also comes with a mesh bag which makes it easy for the pads to be dried on the direct sun without the pad being visible.

What would you consider your greatest achievements in life and with lunapads?

Being an entrepreneur and a mother.

Who/ what is your greatest inspiration?

My daily life with my 9 year old daughter Gigi, my husband, my business partner Susan and Anita Rodwick, a very influential woman.

What is lunapads currently working on, any new ideas?

We have a number of new products coming out soon as part of our brand and we also started G-Day, an event that is meant to bring girls together in Vancouver, we look forward to moving this to other cities around Canada. All the information about this event can be found online and on our website

What do you do to unwind?

I enjoy gardening and yoga

What don't people know about you?

Actually people don’t know that just like any other human being I do encounter self-doubt at times. I also lived in the Middle East sometimes back and while I was there I learnt to speak and write Hebrew.

What life motto do you live by?

The beauty of a woman is a mystery.
