The final type of editing techniques we used was colour correction. We first experimented with this when creating our one minute video (our first ever video) to The 1975's 'Somebody Else'. The colour of the video was changed to represent the mood. As it was quite a sad song, we chose purple to connote this feeling of sadness. In our current music video, we used colour correction to express our feelings again; however, this time we used two different colours which are featured on both the lip sync video and the other footage. The video transitions from happiness at the beginning (when we are good friends), to a cold feeling in the middle (when Emily ditches me for her new boyfriend) and happiness in the end again (when we make up). When watching the video, you will see the colours change from a golden yellow, to a cold blue and back to yellow again.

The final part to completing our music video is the export stage. Last year, we weren't 100% sure on which setting we would need to use for the highest resolution. However, this year, we have been told what setting is the most suitable. The format is called H.264 and the preset is YouTube 1080p HD. This allows our video to be displayed at the second highest resolution making it more appealing to the audience.
To support us with our production, we watched a total of 3 tutorial videos. One included how to use Premiere Pro when editing green screen videos. This was a very helpful video and although the moon picture isn't very clear, it allowed us to add in a clip showing us laughing. This connotes our good friendship at the beginning. The second video was how to make things disappear. This was a very complex video that neither Emily or I understood. That is why Emily decided to try it on her own and it worked. The final video was when it came to creating our logo. It was a very quick and easy video telling me hoe to create a 3D cube in only a couple of minutes. I really liked the video as he engaged with his audience well and his steps were very easy to follow. The introduction of Gauntlett's Media 2.0 allows us to search for anything on the internet using filters; therefore, it wouldn't be difficult to find an appropriate video to help us.
