Another type of editing we did was reversing the footage. Recently, I edited a video to the song 'Let It Happen' by Tame Impala. In this video, I focused my time on using new techniques such as the reverse and also speeding it up. The edits fit very well with the beat; therefore, we decided to use it for our final music video. In the video, I believe these particular edits represent the happiness between the two people in the shot. It connotes excitement. Techniques like this aid in telling the narrative to the audience by expressing the feelings also portrayed through facial expressions and body language.

Comments on when we started to film...

When we knew what song we wanted to create a music video to, we decided it was a good idea to film early. The firework scene was the first scene that we filmed for this music video and it was shot in mid October when we were at a friend's party. By filming early, this allowed us to add more footage over time. It was useful as we edited as we filmed and then we didn't have to worry about filming a lot towards the end which left us stress free and allowed us to focus solely on the extra editing and ways to improve it.
