In the film the Life of Livvy there is a montage of different areanas shown from over the world. This is a convention used to portray our genre of film in the teaser trailer because it give the audience a slight idea about where the film would be set as Livvy is a world wide super star we show the locations to symbolise that she travels the world for her job. Images from google were used from both inside and outside areanas, as is whown in other music documentaries, this symbolises the musical success of music stars in this genre of film.
Many other conventions from music documentaries were used in to create our teaser. Conventions such as setting, mise en scene, sound and props all helped create the teaser trailer because these conventions are the make up of music documentaries. With out these sterotypes the genre wont be defined, here are some examples of how we used the conventions in our media product:

Music documentaries follow the reality of live of mucical artist, and a huge convention of their life is their hardcore fans who follow them everywhere. We used this convention in our teaser trailer by using videos from youtube that 1D fan filmed whilst chasing the car. We used this footage to show how many people love Livvy. The screaming fans were also recoreded and used as a backing sound in the first half the the teaser trailor to show the noisy and fast paced 'Life of Livvy'. Videoing fans say thet love Livvy in other languages shows her world wide success and how fans feels about the star.

Other streortypes of music documentaries are the art and letters that fans send to them. We made props that to signal that fans tryings to get livvys attentions by making posters that they hit on her car. In recent music documentaries fan posters have been shown in the films when the artists is at a concert.
