Migrants and their descendants have made and continue to make enormous contributions to their new homelands .
Show your pupils the banner designed by Pen Mendonca to celebrate the stories of migrants – their spirit and their bravery , their expectations , hopes and aspirations . The designs within the top arch are from South America , Pacifica , Asia , north and west and Africa .
