Ramu was a 6 year old boy who lived in a small village in Rajasthan wit his parents and brothers. There has been no rain in his village for the past 7 years. Ramu had only heard of the wonderful time people would play games during the rainy season from his parents and brothers.

One fine day, Ramu finds an umbrella from under his father's toolbox. He rushed to his father and asked him what it was. Seeing the joy and excitement on Ramu's face, his father explained to him that it was an umbrella and was used to keep them from getting wet when it rained. With all this exitement, Ramu rushed outside to play with his brothers.

While outside, he wished that he could see and feel rain at least once. Ramu looked to the skies and asked the Gods if it could rain just once for him. And then a drop fell on his cheek!

As the sky got dark and cloudy, the blow of the winds increased, and just as Ramu had wished, the Gods blessed the village with heavy rain.

The entire village, including Ramu was very excited. got the umbrella and opened it and watched every drop that fell. After hours of rain, the sun shined in the sky and Ramu saw a beautiful rainbow that filled him with joy. He thanked the Gods and looked on the rainbow as his heart filled with the colors of joy.
