KUALA LUMPUR
“Nasi Lemak Bumbung”? Nasi lemak needs no introduction. It comes close to being Malaysia's national dish. A collective favourite, it's as common as the 'lahs' that pepper our speech. With its fluffy fragrant coconut rice, crispy fried anchovies and crunchy nuts, you can have it anywhere, at any time. It's also a versatile dish with sambal that can range from sweet to savoury at all levels of spiciness. You can even have it with side dishes, the
most popular of which is the “ayam goreng berempah”. Other than that, as it is getting late the crowd is getting more and with free music from the opposite shop. Nice place to hang out with friends in a mamak. They located at Maybank Seapark Petaling Jaya.
PULAU PINANG
All Malaysians know that Penang is THE state for amazing, mouth-watering food. As we’re spoilt for choice, the number 1 dish that always comes to mind when we think of Penang is… Char Kuey Teow! While there’s so many amazing stalls to choose from to have Penang’s famous Fried Kuey Teow, one that is known to many is the one located in Siam Road! The Penang Char Koay Teow uncle is almost famous as a celebrity because of the Char Koay Teow he makes. On average, a customer will have to wait for an hour before they are finally rewarded with a plate of his heavenly Fried Kuey Teow. Yes, one friggin’ hour!
