Visibility of eTwinning Projects Group July 2013 Newsletter
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------On June 23rd-25th, 2013, I participated in the
bilateral seminar Romania – Moldova “eTwin ning
Plus – opportunities of international school
collaboration” that took place in Botosani, Romania.
We were received with warmth, we learned from
others’ experience, we got to know teachers with
notorious names from eTwinning Romania, names I
had known before from the platform and from the
introduction course to the eTwinning platform
attended on www.iteach.ro, such as Alexandra
Bunica, Irina Vasilescu, Gabriela Ileana Crisan. It
was a three-day seminar of intensive work, very
well-organised and structured, so that we take
everything we could take, and to have impressions
left for a long, long time ahead. This seminar laid
the foundation of future collaborations, a thing that
was felt, I think, by all the participants in this
seminar.

geopolitical borders, without rivers that separate
brothers and mountains that bear minds away? Are
you, the 21st century teachers, going to teach as
you taught yesterday? As John Dewey said, ”if you
teach your students today as you taught yesterday,
you rob them of tomorrow”. Will you join
eTwinning, or stand aside?

To conclude, I would like to say that my discovery
in the year 2013, i.e. www.etwinning.net, brought
me a stream of fresh, perfumed and sweet air, that
inspires me to do great things in the future, that
opens a new chapter in my vocation. I am already
making plans how to get my students involved into
collaborative projects on eTwinning. Is there
anyone who does not want to join eTwinning, the
