PERTEVNIYAL BANDIRMA HOSPITAL
The Pertevniyal Foundation sent some aid money to Bandırma
Manucipality in 1925. The Mayor, at that time, was Kaşif Acar. He
reserved 10000 Turkish Liras of that Money for the construction of a
new hospital. The construction was completed and Bandırma had its
first hospital in 1928 with the name Pertevniyal Bandırma Hospital.
Now it is not in use. It looks like ruins. Some say the building is going
to be demolished and some say it is going to be restored. Hopefull
they won’t demolish it.
