Strength of purpose reduces incidences of discouragement

omen are said to be very strong people. Not in terms of physical strength, but in terms of the heart and the ability to take some of
life’s beatings. I have to say, its not all women but most of them. A look at what a day in the life of such a women blessed with
strength and grace, allows you the opportunity to see women differently and you just can’t help but admire them.
Esteemed took the time with one such woman for one week and it was a big challenge to fit it all in one page. It is our hope that you
will learn the place of persistence and self encouragement in the quest for success in life and business is out of this world.
Peris Gathoni is a 35 years old married woman. She is a
mother of two adorable children - ages 4 (Susan) and 5
(Kariuki). Her husband, Joe is in the transport industry
with two canters and two prime movers acquired by his
own sweat on the road.
Gathoni is employed by a local NGO as a community based
nurse and at the same time is a business woman. Her side
business involves selling jewellery and beauty products
sourced from Dubai, hand bags, bed sheets and clothes
sourced from neighboring Uganda and Tanzania.
Their’s is a comfortable family. Not super rich but they
hold their own ground in making ends meet.
