facility design, planning and management at the
EDspaces Conference & Expo, November 2-4 in Cincinnati, OH. EDspaces attendees will experience the latest
in educational furniture, fixtures, and equipment from
over 150 top manufacturers that can be sold throughout
the learning environment.

EDspaces will take full advantage of being in Ohio, a state
with one of the largest and most active public K-12 school
rebuilding programs underway. The Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC) and their public school partners are
currently spending an average of $2 million dollars a day in school
construction and the state is leading the nation in the design and
construction of LEED schools through the US Green Building
Council’s (USGBC) LEED for Schools rating system. Cincinnati
boasts some of the most unique learning environments allowing
EDspaces to tap into outstanding sources for both school tour
locations and thought leaders sharing content through our education program.
This year’s focus of Visioning and Re-visioning the Future of
Educational Facilities highlights connections between creative
learning and developing knowledge spaces that positively affect
student outcomes. Once again, the American Institute of Architects Committee on Architecture for Education (AIA-CAE) is
co-locating its Fall Conference with EDspaces and serving as a
valued Knowledge Partner.
An actively-engaged committee of EDmarket members, AIACAE leaders, local dealers and architects in Cincinnati, and planning partners from USGBC and OFCC, have planned a powerful
education program featuring 32 educational sessions. Hear from
experts in the design community sharing new research and trend
data while educators and planners share their first-hand experience and needs for modern facility design that can affect positive
change in the classroom.
