I want to give you just a few tips that can keep or get you on track to your healthiest skin. We’re always told how to improve our heart, body and mind; however we tend to neglect the largest organ of our bodies which is our skin. Below you will find a few of the top priorities I suggest on how to achieve your overall best! Keep these tips in mind as we change seasons and we’ll keep you updated on more ways to maintain the most beautiful you!
1. Feed your skin from the inside out. Many times we look for a “quick fix” or overnight change. Our skin often reflects what we eat, drink and our lifestyles. Eat a healthy well balanced diet and drink plenty of water.
2. Never leave home without sunscreen. We all enjoy a great vacation, a ride in the car with the sunroof open, and a perhaps a day on the beach. As great as this feels and as much as our bodies need the vitamin D the sun provides, too much of a good thing can also mean premature aging, sunburn and in some cases higher risks for skin cancers. “Yes” we all need sunscreen!! No matter what we think as we see the glowing sun kissed skin. The fact that your skin has tanned means it has been damaged. All exposed skin, whether it’s a winter day or hot summer day the sun still exists. Protection can include lotions, make-up with an SPF, hats and or cover-ups. It can all make the difference!
