1.5.1 Regular consultation and update with key stakeholders
Consultation and information gathering with all relevant stakeholders( MIDA, ILMIA, JPK and industry associations such as AMMI and MARGMA) was an important part of this project, especially at the commencement period to further understand the specific needs and issues, as well as clarify on existing information and preliminary hypotheses. The consultation also ensured that primary and secondary research were conducted in a more targeted and effective manner, and were consistently aligned to the overall objectives.
In addition, this information sharing and update session were able to facilitate a better understanding of the market and enabled us to focus on the key areas rather than‘ reinventing the wheel’.
There were regular progress updates and discussions with the stakeholders throughout the duration of the project to ensure all issues were resolved promptly and initial findings were discussed from time to time.
